Okay this is a simple work around to get the latest version of java installed on puppy 525.
first download http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TTQ5ATSQ

create a new directory in /usr called java
extract the .tar.gz to /usr/java
you can copy java.sh anywhere you like doesnt matter.
next open a terminal and cd to where java.sh is
type ./ java.sh
boom bang java's working
For some reason I have to run the shell script everytime I reboot, but thats okay for me.
