SeaMonkey 2.0.1.4 update giving display problems

#1 Post by 8-bit »

Since the last SeaMonkey update, when I go to msn.com, and allow the page in NoScript, the images in the section that moves from one to the next now seem to be jerky when changing between them.
The transition used to be a whole lot smoother.
I already have the proprietary driver for my nvidia video card installed so I cannot blame that.
So, is anyone else noticing this and anyone have suggestions as to what might be causing it?
Or, just had a thought, could it be just another case of a microsoft site being changed to favor IE over other browsers?

Also, while I am at it, I have seen a few posts of users reporting text overlapping other text on some sites.
I had this happen also.
My short term remedy was to tell NoScript to allow the page.
That would allow the text to format correctly on the site.

Stay a way from µthings

I don't quite understand what you mean about the section that moves pictures to another. A screenshot would have been welcome.

But I see a lot of bling when I go to sections of the site and my CPU goes often to 100%.

I use 2.0.14 also.
My graphics is a radeon one.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
