Hello,
Following on from simpleGTK theme maker http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=69312

Here is simpleBOX - a little Yad GUI for making simple basic Openbox themes - there are no bells, whistles or fancy openbox theme effects here, i wanted to try and keep the GUI as simple to use as possible and as such there are only 6 inputs.

Background:
Is the colour of the menu background, window bar, desktop / application switcher and active windows.

Highlight: (directly under Background)
Is the colour of highlighted menu entries and inactive windows.

Text:
Is the colour of text in the menus and active windows title.

Highlight: (directly under Text)
Is the colour of text when highlighted in menus and inactive windows title.

Boarder:
Is the colour of a small boarder draw around the menu and all windows.

Theme Name:
Is what ever you want to call your new theme.

Image

Dependencies:
Requires Yad - download is available on this link:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 533#536533

Menu entry is in Utility
tested on lucid puppy.

Nice program. Works great.
Thanks so much!!

Yad has got your programing abilities fired up. Keep up the excellent work!

One small point.
In the Puppy menu system, anything like this is usually listed under:
menu->Desktop

That is where you will find the Openbox window manager config, jwm theme maker, JWM configuration, etc....

That is also where programs are being placed in the forum:
Additional Software (Pets & Stuff)->Desktop
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:
YaPI(any iso installer)

Hi Sheepy - thanks for the feedback 8)

unrelated to this topic but Burunduk has posted an update for urxvtset if you could possibly try it to see if you still have stretched window issues - that would be a great help.
