To all of you whom it may concern.

Some time ago I‘ve asked you for voting here and here and here (pinboard 1) and there. I‘ve asked you for your help. Until now there was only one person who has voted. On the other hand there were over 1700 fonts downloaded. Moreover, this thread has more than 8600 views and the voting thread has about 250 views. And there is only one vote. This is unbelievable and from my point of view not acceptable. It looks like that voting is much too much work for almost all of you. And don‘t get me wrong, but it looks like that almost all of you visiting this thread seem to be like a big flock of lazy and stupid sheeps looking for a keeper.

Well, since I don‘t like to be a keeper or something similar for a flock of lazy and stupid sheeps on one hand, and on the other hand I like to have your votes to get some input for ‚navigating‘ this thread into the one or perhaps better into another direction, here is a deal for you.

I have some ideas to enhance this thread to make it more usable and to make it more comfortable. One idea is for example to index the single font postings with special key words so that you can seach for i.e. ‚handwriting fonts‘. You can check this out manually by searching for ‚f4p2info4v‘ within the forum search. If you haven‘t forgotten to check, that you like to have the results as posts, this search should result in a list of all the information postings of this thead. So, if you want me to make something similar for the fonts for example, you should vote in the voting thread.

I think, there are at least 30 to 40 votings needed to call these votes ‚a some sense making input‘ for me. If there are more it will be better. This means, if there are more than 30 votings I could start thinking again about possible enhancements of this thread, if there are more than 40 votings I could start making the one or the other possible enhancement for this thread.

But please keep the following in mind. Since this thread is getting bigger and bigger, actual there are about 80 fonts and from week to week there will be more, the work will be getting more and more too, to edit every font posting with keywords. And if I think that it‘s too much work, then I could get the idea that I won‘t like to do that much work. So maybe it could be a good idea, in case of like to vote, to do that more quickly than in the past.

Furthermore at the moment I don‘t like to post so many fonts anymore than in the past, because it looks to me that you don‘t like this thread and this thread dosn‘t make much sense to you, since almost none has voted so far. So, in the future I‘ll try to post only 2 or 3 fonts max per week - perhaps some less.

Last but not least a little other thing. This thread is not that much important to me, since the fonts I‘m posting here inclusiv the attachments of their appearance I have already on my harddisk - before posting.

And now it‘s up to you my dear flock of sheeps - to vote or not to vote - your decision.
And if you have forgotten were the voting thread is, the voting thread is here.

Cheers
