ANTIVIRUS

Hello to all!
I am new to linux!
Where is the built in antivirus on Puppy?
Can I install an other one? How? Thank you!

Hello Vagelism22678,

welcome to puppyworld. If you scan the Security/Privacy subsection, of the forum's Additional Software section, you's see several threads regarding anti-virus apps. However, AFAIK, they are for scanning windows partitions, not linux. There are also several antivirus engines that provide freeware linux programs, e.g. Avast.

Which version of puppy are your running?

Yes I need the antivirus mostly for Windows partitions.

Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
