Since I'm testing live at the moment I decided to make a save file on a usb stick and just continue testing. Seemed very slow creating a 256 mb save file and then wouldn't reboot.
Started booting then "System Halted" and "CRC error". Remove the usb stick and it boots right up. Tried twice, two failures.
Going to try saving to the hard drive this time. Smile

EDIT:

Seems like it was just a problem with that slow old usb 1.0. No problem saving to a partition on the hard drive.

Successfully made a save file to the hard drive and rebooted but, and there's always a but, Firefox quit working again. The dreaded seg fault. Smile Recopied /lib/firefox / from the cd again and still seg faulting.
Good news though, Abiword, BMP,Gxine,Dillo and Streamtuner are all working well. Smile
Firefox is trying my patience....... Laughing

Hi James maybe delete the /root/.mozilla <-- hidden folder and see if that helps to fix your firefox issue.

That's strange James firefox has never had a segfault on my pc's other than a glibC outdated issue when updated a few months back on restart, but once I updated glibC, all was well again, maybe try Firefox 6 and see if that works. I like using future versions over mainstream but will revert back to 5 if 6 doesn't work.

my daughters wanted to play habbo which is a online flash game, but it wouldn't work so I updated to the latest flash and it worked, so here's a pet for it, its 2 MB larger extracted, so I'll serousily have to think about it before adding it to the next release, I'm still trying to keep this a min size.

Nice, I didn't know you could remove the x264 bin, and still play .flv files Smile

yes gxine will use ffmpeg which will use usr/lib/libx264.so.115 (863kb lib). The bin is only needed if your using a gui that would call the bin, but ffmpeg only calls the .so lib Smile
ttuuxxx

Ps I also tossed the 264 bin in the devX for user who might want it for something else Smile That way it doesn't get lost, lol
