Yes as it shows on the main screen it only checks every ten minutes, it can be made to check longer than every ten minutes but not shorter (you cannot make it check every minute or five minutes but you can make it check every 15 or twenty) unless if the code was modified. As for your changes not being persistent I've noticed the same thing on my system and will look further into it.

Audio Alert
IPMonitor sound is working fine on PUP525. The sound problem I have may be distro dependent or MAY have something to do with other programs which also make use of teh sound card impacting IPMonitor use. The Alert is occurring within that 10 minute window you reference. Thx

gcmartin being a java app, IPMonitor is distro Independent, so in theory should work on all OSs exactly the same as long as they have the same java version/dependencies installed
