xjoy2key 0.1.0

#1 Post by Dingo »

*xjoy2key 0.1.0*
- http://dokupuppylinux.co.cc/games:utilities:xjoy2key
- html man included (type: man xjoy2key)

xjoy2key maps your joystick button presses to keyboard key presses so you can play games with a joystick even if the game doesn't support one natively.

The link appears to not work, could you upload it somewhere? or possibly here?

Thank you, it installed well.
Although, I'm having trouble getting it working.
I opened the terminal and typed xjoy2key --config /dev/input/js0 while my gamepad was plugged in, and it said "Unable to open joystick '/dev/input/js0' : No such device

Any idea what I could do to get it to work?

Is that the exact message you received in the terminal, including that misspelling? ('inpuy')
[ Puppy 4.3.1 JP, Frugal install ] * [ XenialPup 7.5, Frugal install ] * [XenialPup 64 7.5, Frugal install] * [ 4GB RAM | 512MB swap ]
In memory of our beloved American Eskimo puppy (1995-2010) and black Lab puppy (1997-2011).
