Hmmm. Downloaded and installed PeaZip from the thread. It all worked first time.
On removal it left the menu entry but a restart jwm cleared it.

I have these pet files installed:
PWidgets 2.3.5
Noia Warm ( Icon Set )
Pan Newsreader
OpenBox Themes
Xorg High ( Intel Drivers )
Firefox 4.0
Lucid Nvidia 260.19.12 ( Nvidia Drivers )
Lshw ( Lister - Hardware Info )
PupSave Config
Wbar
No Black Screen
@ tasmod
I have tried to remove the entry from the .jwm folder and openbox config folder as well - finally using fixmenus.
Guess, I could always delete my pupsave file and start again.

Portable version works here on lucid 525 lite -have you looked to see if the portable version is executable ? right click > peazip > properties > Exec: three boxes should be ticked.

@chrome307:
Confirming that peazip portable runs in 525 from the executable in the peazip portable directory.
You might have leftovers from the previous installation.
Run pfind to find them and delete or rename those peazip files that are outside the portable directory. Then start from the cock wheel inside the directory. It should work IMHO.
Also...
The peazip portable directory must be on an extx or NTFS partition. FAT won't do!!

Chrome307,
Try the Menu - Shutdown - Restart JWM and see if it clears. Assuming you are using Jwm ?

Psync - Time synchroniser
I'm doing a rewrite of the report back code in Psync and would be obliged if anyone here could run the following in a terminal window. Take a snap or just report the text.
echo `hwclock --debug | tail -3 `
Thanks

wuwei,
Thanks, pretty much same as my machine except Friday is Fr for you, Fri for mine.
It's the CEST bit that may or not be reported in others.

By the way.
I've noticed whingeing about the firewall not being on by default etc.
Security issues in Puppy.
This crap from a Windows bloke.
Give it a rest.
Let it be simple.
Video and wireless worketh.
Any other hymms should be ignored.
Let someone release a Security Puppy...as they wish.
The beauty of Puppy is usability.
What I love is that the same ranters leave their garbage out with
bank statements and other accounts..not shredded.
I have more confidence in my Puppy 1.07 cd...saved settings
then anything Windows offers.
I use Puppy 4.3.1 saved cd these days...
but guess what....no issues.
Anyone can be hacked...sure....corporations etc.
Didn't someone hack the digital certificates?

ffmpeg in Package Manager |
|
Downloaded ffmpg from the PPM... It installed but did not make a menu entry in Multimedia (or anywhere else) like it should have. Went to main file and tried to run from there (as it did install) No Dice... Tried again with a download I was using in 520 (and a few other pup's) and that did the same thing so... I'm thinking it must be something with ffmpg itself and 525. Anyone else have this happen?
