Hi,

Is any one else having a problem downloading the file?

I only get a 4250B file when I download it from File Front (which says it should be 31.55 MB).

Sometimes(rare) the service is unavailable  , try again later.

I forgot something else, this sfs can be mounted on Puppy-1.09CE as loop device (don't use it as usr_more.sfs, use 'mount -o loop <something>.sfs /<SomeDir>') and since it's a RoxApp you can start to play just clicking the icon (<wherever it's mounted>/usr/local/apps/Games)

Tip: when downloading from filefront don't use download accelerators.

That's because it only works at 24bpp. Exit X, run xorgwizard, choose Xorg and select "1024x768x24" or "800x600x24", etc.

Is ther a problem with my OpenGL? Do I not have OpenGL? I would think that it would come with Puppy 4.

Ok, make sure that you have installed the xorg_xorg_full_dri-7.3.pet
package from petget. Now install the video driver for your card and change to the color depth to 24 bpp, don't waste your time if you don't have and ATI or nVidia gpu/igpu.

File "ExtensionLoader_OpenGL_GL_GL__init.py", line 12, in ?
ImportError: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or direct
ory

Later i installed the xorg_xorg_full_dri-7.3.pet and got this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):

SDL without OpenGL support.

Try to install another build of SDL to fix it.
This one is from my puplet, don't know if it'll work on other puppies:

hi shadowtroop

i had seen your other post and i had a go a getting the new fretsonfire to work, but i had the same error as you. I think it might be to to with the 'dreaded python!'

However i found an older version that does work . I tested it on lupu520 and lupu525 with just my graphic drivers and python installed.

Just unzip it, and click the FretsOnFire script to start it.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/fretson ... z/download

edit: it's the same as the above version

open the folder "FretsOnFire"where the script is ,then open a terminal by right clicking in the window and choosing,...window / terminal here, then type

Code: Select all

./FretsOnFire
post what it says here.

edit: also try right-clicking on the script and select permissions and choose make executable/searchable. then try clicking the script again

try booting live with the cd, by typing puppy pfix=ram at the boot screen. then install just your graphics driver and python. See if it works then. If it does then your puppy install messed up, if it doesn't then it must hate your graphic drivers.
