Will you be uploading a video (to your YouTube channel) for this later?

The download URL on the Website has been corrected
http://tmxxine.com/tmx525/Lucid_Tmxxine-v1.iso

I put Lucid Tmxxine together quite quickly and should have added gtk-record-my-desktop. So it is not very polished. I also think removing Openbox was a mistake as the desktop seems to be only partly displaying the menubar.

It was much easier after initial positioning to directly edit the config text file for wbar

fotowall and pinta are portapps
http://portablelinuxapps.org/ - not all of them work

Anyways feel free to modify any way you see fit :)

I have found a few faults with this puplet. I only test the live cd, maybe these problems do not happen if you install it.

1 The default wallpaper refuses to load. This is not a big problem, because as I said before in this forum, generally the first thing I change when I get a new desktop is to change the wallpaper. But the default wallpaper looks good anyway if you chose it.

2 Where is the sound icon? It is normally beside the clock on the bottom taskbar. In Puppy I have to configure it so that it knows I have a speaker when it runs from the live cd. In VirtualBox this is not a problem.

3 When you start Firefox there is either a problem connecting to the internet or the default homepage for this puplet is down.

4 It will not restart the xserver, reboot or poweroff in the normal way. You have to press control alt backspace at the same time.

I most likely will test it later today doing frugal install.
I failed to get the speaker volume going there too in the tray.

How can I change it from 82% to 100% I always fail to remember such details.

I could not Reboot neither can it do Restart X

Firefox is too big for the screen. I don't have that problem with lupu usually.

So not sure what to think.

What is the cloud thing about. Did you mention that one? If you did then sure I am a very poor reader. I confess to that. So tell me more.

Could I ask a dumb question. Is it FF4 that have this new thing that if one do some move with the mouse or click too many times or something then the FF is still running but minimalized and it is impossible to make that screen start again. One have to shut down all tabs and start all over.

I trust it is FF4 having a new featuer and not you doing it okay ? :)
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

Thanks for giving it a try guys. 8)

I am NOT going to support it.

Too many bugs created during remastering.
The 'cleared of icons' screen just appeared
- I liked it so I kept it.
However really I should know why it happened.

Yes the sound icon is gone - not good.
Fixing such things is time consuming and not
of much interest (to me)

Puppy has become a little more sophisticated and creating a reliable remastered wooflet/puplet requires time and commitment.
Tmxxine Twinkle was I feel more stable - again no second version.

For me it was a test of how easy it is to start the process.
Couple of days work.
Continuous support and development is the key.

There will be no upgrades.

Perhaps those with a little more commitment
will provide a more viable offering based on 525. I hope so :)
