Download the 3D-wizard and install it:
http://dotpups.de/tests/3D-DRI-wizard.pup (13 kb)
If you use Puppy2, also:
http://dotpups.de/tests/findhostbridge-bugfix.pup (Puppy2 only)

The wizard tries to download drivers from the internet.
To avoid that, download them manually, and copy them to the correct locations:

Puppy1:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/D ... es-2.4.pup
to: /usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/24

Puppy2:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/D ... es-K26.pup
to: /usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/26

All Puppys (Ati Radeon 7000):
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/OpenGL.pup
to: /usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/xorg/
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/OpenGL-B.pup
to: /usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/xorg/

http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/dri-radeon.pup
to :/usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/xorgA/
http://noforum.de/dotpups/X11R6addons/dri-radeon.pup
to :/usr/local/3D-DRI-wizard/resource/xorgB/

Then run the 3D-wizard from the Dotpups-menu, and choose "A" or "B".
On my Puppy108, only the "B" version works with the Radeon 7000 VE..
