There must be warmer places to go to on a Holiday than Lappland Smile

I guess you are a Ski person then who love to go down hill doing snow board something. I am a typical indoor person. So I wait for your Snow 12 to be ready. Thanks for all your efforts.

So, these all seems to be the cause of the troubles I have had to get 011 working and I never could get it running well. I am glad that this post now releaves me of the tension I built while trying the 011.
Well, I will retry with 012.

Snow Puppy-012 has been released. I have used the brand new 22.2.2011 woof. It took some time to get my own packages included alright.
I will take a brake now. Leaving tomorrow to the Lapland. Maybe I can follow forum posts, maybe not.

Now all the apps should be updated to the latest versions found from repos. Well, Gimp and and VLC are those I havent updated.
Ndiswrapper and old network wizard should be now availabe again. I found the bug in my woof which caused to the nonworking situation.

Viewnior 1.1 needs libxcb-xlib which is missing. I dug it out from Luci distro and made pet of it. After installing this pet, the Viewnior works in Snow Puppy-012. I might upload the fixed Snow Puppy-012.

Thanks. Have you noticed if SnowPuppy makes random named subdirectories with names like

l250xxxxx.xxx and inside are Firefox3.6.13.sfs and LMMS.sfs and TC_412.sfs

Yes sorry, we are so at it obviously. But viewnior works great with you pet so maybe I will not change anything having a working system.

I deleted the two new random made subdir that Lupu or Snow or some other puppy made and it does not change the behavior of Snow at all.

so not sure what puppy use these directories.

Nooby. The only update was for that viewnior. You have said you like it so I wanted to fix it. Otherwise reuploaded Snow Puppy-012 is the same.
I havent found so far nothing else nonworking. There might become some other surprises because of application updates.
I just dont have time to check them all.
Please test and report. And check the md5sum of the iso. The upload was even slower than usual. Just right click the iso and click MD5sum check and on the app, click hash. Then compare to the one in the download folder.

Brown Mouse. Thank you of report. I noticed it also. Updating Pidgin to 2.7.10 caused this. Try this pet. It has libs and pixmaps for facebook-chat plugin.
Quit running pidgin first.

Thanks pemasu and sorry to have intruded on your holidays.
I'll add the Pidgin .pet and test it.

I also noticed 'glxgears' were running after I had created a savefile at first boot but as soon as I entered 'xorgwizard' and set the 'nv' drivers up,'glxgears'no longer functioned.I've seen this before in other Pupps and the change of kernel means I probably wont find a driver for 'Nvidia'.
I might need to try your instructions of last night for 'Nouveau',unfortunately I'm still not sure how to do this although I have the.pet to hand(sorry that is my fault).
