acpi-scripts package?

#1 Post by bwh1969 »

I have an Asus EEEPC 1201T --> it is not of the usual format of an EEE and the PupEEE has little advantage for me with this machine. Processor is an Athlon Neo 64 bit and all the acpi items are written for the celeron and atom processors.

Is there a "generic" acpi-scripts package I can start with? I did some searching and I can only find things for PupEEE.

My brightness and oddly screen blank keys are the only ones that work currently: I would like volume keys to work.

I don't expect to get suspend to work b/c nothing wakes properly that is booted from the SD card on this particular machine, not Ubuntu or AroraOS (used to be eeebuntu) or Arch. All of these suspend from the HD so there is something peculiar to the hardware for the reader on this machine where "wake" does not remount the SD card if the OS is there.
