dyndns only works without SSL Subject description: Perl Module not found
Hi all,
I'm new to puppy linux, but have already basic knowledge of linux (Slackware, RedHat and Debian). I recently set up a homeserver with the latest puppy (5.1) to harddisk and had trouble to get ddclient to work with SSL. It works with the setting SSL=no in ddclient.conf but I guess this means that my account data (username, password and URL) are transmitted unencrypted over the internet.
How do you setup perl to find the libio-ssl-perl to work?
Code:
ddclient[5856]: FATAL: Error loading the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL needed for SSL connect.
ddclient[5856]: FATAL: On Debian, the package libio-socket-ssl-perl must be installed.
