scanmodem.gz gets you dialled up / SLmodem

back in puppy 3.0 my Agere AC97 softmodem was reliably autodetected. these days have long gone by. so now in puppy 5.1, you have to get the shell script scanmodem http://132.68.73.235/linmodems/packages/scanModem.gz to tell you what to do.  I seriously suggest to include scanmodem.sh in puppy
or at least have some hint to it inside pupdial. once you manually start something like
you are then ready to pupdial and have
