Subject description: problems noted		  
Hi
I have a fresh install of 5.1 and devx on usb stick. Valide loads fine and works for the most part. However I have noticed a couple of problems that may or may not be bugs:
1) Mime alert when starting from the menu - ok when started from command line
2) Preferences do not display. When valide is started from the command line, selecting Preferences generates a long list of Gtk related "symbol not found" messages followed by a number of Gtk Critical reports of assertion failure.
3) Selecting Project Options terminates valide.

Bug or faulty install?

Sony Vaio, Celeron 2.8, 512 RAM, Puppy 5.1
