slackpup 0.3 recognized modem but does not connect

Subject description: dial up on slackpup 0.3 error
 

a strange thing happened on my slackpup 0.3, motorola sm56 modem is recognized but the error connecting. not leave this "no carrier ERROR! trying again".

In PupDial there is a checkbox to disable waiting for carrier, did you try that?

hi barry pleasure to be talking to you, I recorded on a rewritable DVD and as I did not get back to writing the quirky retro 1.2 and deleted the slackpup. I'll download again and check.
