I wrote a little script some time ago that turns the firewall on/off at the press of a button.

I made a pet and put it in additional software.

It was quite basic in operation as all it did was add a gui to a file remove or file append.

It was also incorporated into Zigberts DuDE .

tasmod, when does one want the firewall to be off?

SIP or MultiCasting or VPN tunneling or what?

I know too little. I thought one always wanted it to be as strong as possible?
What can one not do if it is always on? Can one not jsut open the ports that is needed for that purpose?
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though
