Here my first pet...

it can create encrypted folder so you can enter your secret movie and stuff in it...

before install copy the attached lib into /usr/lib

Thank to Dejan : http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=39756

btw the default filemanager in cryptkeeper is nautilus so change it to rox or any flavor of your choice in preference, just right click cryptkeeper icon.

Errr, I don't exactly get what needs to go where, just tell me which two need to be merged and I'll pack it up. :)

EDIT: If you only needed libgconf as pet, here it is

encfs need rlog, while the other two(ORBIT and libconf) are needed by cryptkeeper...

Oh you find the libconf-2 ??? Great
I even rename my installed lib so this forum can accept.

Thank you for finding the lib, cryptkeeper is great program, easy and very small. I'm sure lot of ppl will like it.

thank you.

master_wrong you have done a good job on this and it works really well when you understand how to drive it. Very simple really.

All is good until you reboot. All of the settings are lost such as the encrypted directories and the rox preference.

Have you found a way to fix this?

Regards

Smokey

Hi,

sorry for late reply...

I cannot help about lost preference after reboot, i admit i didn't test reboot but i'm sure the encrypted directory are not lost, they were just hidden and cryptkeeper did not automatically show them so you will have to re-import the hidden encrypted files every time you need them... ?
