During installation, Quirky Puppy 1.2 package manager says to look in the Utility menu for it. In fact I found it where it should be, in the Fun menu, but it wouldn't run. When I entered numptyphysics in a console window I got this:
# numptyphysics
numptyphysics: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_image-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
#

Flash,

sounds like just a missing symlink. Check in /usr/lib for somethingi like SDL_image-1.2.so.0.xxx, then link to libSDL_image-1.2.so.0.

I got that because I thought I had SDL already installed so didn't use the pet that is provided in the first link...but then installed the pet and that took care of it...

I didn't read the OP very closely so I missed the other stuff Puppy needs before Numpty Physics would work. After I installed the other stuff Numpty runs fine. It's very addictive. Thanks. :D

I've been having some fun with this simple game, but got frustrated when I was stuck and couldn't work out how to reset the level. Always had to close the game and restart.

However, a look at http://numptyphysics.garage.maemo.org/
has given me the relevant key strokes.

r or up resets level to initial state.

Hurrah.
