Puppy TV 2 Subject description: out of the box |
|
This autumn Sony will be producing
a web enabled TV using an Intel Chip
+ Google Android
etc -
HD ready TV's will be able to use an add on box
from Logitech
This is GoogleTV
Will that device allow Fluppy or
a Puppy Android hybrid?
Well I dunno . . . but I want it NOW
So fueled with peanut butter and jam (jelly)
and caffiene
created this new demo powered by Fluppy running on Eeepc

============= Music =========
Damien Jurado
As one of the most prolific indie-folk artists of our time,
Damien Jurado hits home once again with his latest album, Saint Bartlett
(out May 25th). The Secretly Canadian-approved track is "Arkansas," which sounds like something you'd hear playing on a jukebox in a David Lynch film. It's short-but-sweet (3:0 , so you'll want to press play again as soon as it ends.

This was a lot easier than v1
and the resolution much higher
very usable
Last time I had to use Vesa

Nice one Lobster
Unrelated - but when i was looking at your original puppyTV page saw your simple menu program and used it to make a quick launch on lupu of my most used programs, instead of scrolling through menus now i just need to click on Apps in jwm-tray, very handy thanks
one question though how do i get to open more than one program at once - say i click on search/pfind i have to close it before another program say screen/mtpaint-snapshot will open?
Edit: adding '&' to the the end of each program location has sorted more that one program at once.

Result! [As Alan Partridge might say]
good news - in future the programming section is a good place to ask
but finding the solution yourself - priceless.
Thanks for posting the pic very svelt, minimalistic and chic . . .
the menuing program is very easy to adapt
here is another example with code
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=363514#363514
I may adapt that to run on my Puppy TV 2 (still all connected up)
