I felt the panic the other day. Suddenly Firefox or something else went totally crazy taking up almost all of 3GB RAM and for not reason.

So I shut the computer down and let it rest for a while and then the problem did not appear again. Could be some update of an addon. I have xmarks and noscript and simple mail

but none of them would take up all resources not even an update of FF either so something bad was going on. I wish one had some log one could look into to find out what was happening.

i think that in general random text should avoid infrequently used words, in order to appear more naturalistic

wow, you guys are deep! :)
Can reality 'bootstrap' itself?

Reality exists because
from the quantum to the mechanical,
only that forming patterns
that obey
predictable recognizable laws
have qualities of existence

Had I written that text then some critical person had complained about my grammar maybe. and told me to rewrite it? No criticism towards Lobster. You are the Man! :)

I guess what the text wanted to say is something like this hasty mock up!

Reality (appears to us humans to) have existence because

that which we refer to as Reality emerge out of the quantum fluctuation
and manifest itself to us as matter which appears mechanical to us,

but only those quantum fluctuations that form natural patterns
that obey predictable recognizable laws
have the qualities that we refer to as having real existence.

Hahah, I at least get what I say but maybe I am so used to my very poor grammar that it is totally garbage to you guys. Be kind to the old man from Sweden.

Now that....I think I understand. :D 8)

Except...
What's a "quantum fluctuation" exactly? :?

My son teaches Physics.
Should I ask him perhaps?

A one hour lecture available online for free. I am too lazy to search for the best links
but write this in the google search

"Lawrence Krauss" "A Universe out of Nothing" quantum fluctuation
and many links comes up. I loved to listen and see that guy but I understood almost nothign of it but kind of cool to be try to grasp even if I failed at it.

and a loaded pistol in my underwear drawer

Never had underwear needing that level of protection . . .
is it antique? Shocked

People have been shot over far less than a pair of old drawers. If somebody wakes me in the night needing to be shot I intend to oblige them post haste.

Where does everybody else keep their firearm? My Daddy kept his under his pillow. That seems too close. Mines been in my underwear drawer so long that's where I'd look out of habit.

Since I'm here and this is on topic (unusual state of events for me) does any body else think their computer might have a haint? I bought this laptop from a fellow named Craig. It was supposed to have been wiped clean with a reinstall. It came up pretty quickly this laptop clearly belonged to Carl. There's even pictures of Craig and Carl. This laptop does some strange stuff, which leads my imagination to race ahead and think maybe Carl's dead and haunting my laptop. He could have got shot messing with somebodies drawers. I know that has happened. I believe my wife would shoot me if she caught me messing with some woman's (guess I should say somebodies to be PC) drawers.

Well I'm off on a tangent again. Anybody else got a ghost? I'm not scared. I figure a ghost would see one day we'd meet in the afterworld by and by and then there would be a reckoning.

You all take care

Guys

Robert Anton Wilson explains quantum physics
on my latest blogging site April 27, 2010
http://tmxxine.posterous.com/

It is possible that there is such a thing as 'quantum paranoia':
The fear of being watched
produces the observer.

Lobster said

They say, "On the first Saturday of May all eyes turn to Louisville for the historic running of the Kentucky Derby" As my profile says I live in Louisville. All eyes, think about it. That's a bunch. Kind of scary.

Lobster, are you goofing on me?

Everybody else, is it OK if I goof on Lobster a little or do I need to let him be?

Edit- I'm not asking for permission. I'm asking is he like a wizard or something? Have any of his enemies died from mysteriously swallowing their tongue or some weird thing such as that?

Edit edit- OK the pistol's under my pillow just for tonight. Wizards about dang.

Had a fitful night. Went to see the witchy woman during the evil hour. She sees definite signs of a spell woven in Lobster's words. She knows little of lobsters but is thoroughly copasetic with crawfish. She spoke an incantation and gave me a potion. She also schooled me as to what I must do to protect myself. I must keep that secret in order for it to work. She says magic is strongest in the dark of the moon. It's the light of the moon here. Does anybody know what phase of the moon it is in Australia?

A little help here would be nice. You're not all scared are you?

Dang, can't I count on you people. Came here with a small vexation of a haint, now I've possible offended a wizard. He said "The fear of being watched
produces the observer." Sounds like some variation of the spell of the evil eye. If I think he's watching me he's there. It's like not thinking about the pink elephant. Can't do it can you.

The oil on the water separated so I did the deed with the tip of the needle in the eye of the needle and chanted Occhi e contro e perticelli agli occhi, crepa la invida e schiattono gli occhi. I dropped the needles in the water, threw in 3 pinches of salt and cut the water and the air each 3 times with a pair of scissors. See it here http://pagan-wiccan-practice.suite101.c ... e_evil_eye

If this is not the cure for the Australian evil eye PLEASE let me know. Paranoia. You all have no idea.

It's something Alien .You can see how an Alien would be attracted to something called an ATI Radeon can't you ? ? ? I mean ATI Radeon sounds like an Alien Death Ray or somethin', dunnit ? ? ? Anyway, this Alien (his name's Jeff by the way) hitched a ride back to Earth on the Flying Saucer the last time Bugman took it out for a spin. Remember that slight "bump" as you were passing Alpha Centauri ? ? ? That was Jeff farting. The enriched-uranium bi-phenyls in Alien Fart acted like an After Burner and then the (DELETED - THIS IS MEANT TO BE A FAMILY SHOW) increased forward velocity by a geometric rate of acceleration.

I'm afraid all of this can only mean one thing . . .

Back to the paranoia . . .
Would you or do you add passwords of the following complexity?
http://randomkeygen.com/

Look at that 504-bit WPA Key . . .
eg.

Code: Select all

52k>5#Tk_13z6qPDdG2d1Z)O?5sTqSV*#5t9<{Geu51t7XGjT}LHH|1:=iKcm_2
After inputting all that I would expect
to have the key to another universe . . .

You are gonna have to write down such complexity so here is how

This should keep you up at night if
you can not afford coffee

Popular websites you've recently visited
http://www.whattheinternetknowsaboutyou.com/

I suppose you could set your browser to clear
your cookies every time you leave the browser
or use private browsing if visiting naked sardine sites

However I have a better idea for a tin hatted programmer
- a cookie maker that creates innocuous, spurious
or call the 'internet police' cookies (various settings)
I rather like the idea of a honey pot powered cookie maker
- thing is I don't have the inclination

. . . but just maybe we can expect
a higher class of spam
if we generate a better
class of cookie to track?
