Custom 1.0.8 CD: how to boot with ACPI enabled?

#1 Post by opel70 »

Hello,

I have been trying to create a custom 1.08 LiveCD. All I want to do is change the default boot option to have ACPI enabled instead of disabled (option 2). I have tried editing the ISOLINUX.CFG file when prompted and just changing the "default=1" to "default=2". However, when I do this the CD freezes with a "Kernel panic" part way through booting.

Is there something special I should do to change the default boot options?

Tim
