Looking for GLIBC 2.7 /2.9

#1 Post by swiatmar »

Hallo!!!

I am looking for glibc version 2.7 and 2.9. I am trying to run new blender and testing varicad. both needs glibc library in version 2.7 and 2.9.
Puppy has only a ver.2.6 in package manager. I was also searching in forum and found nothing.
Is it possible to get it for puppy 431?
thanks :)

I've had pretty good luck with pulling packages directly from Debian:

http://packages.debian.org/search?suite ... ords=glibc

I try to use "squeeze (testing)" when possible (as it is the newest "stable" versions). You probably want the i386 packages.

You should be able to find older packages also.
