Graphic tool for Linux to recording from analog tv card. It offer: schedule system , view recording channels, auto-scan , lot of formats, watch television (basic).

The dependencies:
java from (login:puppy, password:linux)
http://puppylinux.asia/tpp/bugs/java-1.6u14.pet
Mplayer from PETget package manager
Mencoder
MyRTv_0.1.6_jar.pet

Hi

1 Running live cd 431.

2 Installed everything you suggested.

3 After installing the myrtv pet it reported "no menu entry"

4 When running mplayer eerything froze

5 Must I install -both- mencoder-pets ?

1 Running live cd 431.
I prepared the pet package in puppy 4.11 but it does not matter

2 Installed everything you suggested.
To start the program the most important is java

3 After installing the myrtv pet it reported "no menu entry"
The program is installed in /root/MyRTv_0.1.6_jar. You can click to RUNMyRTv.sh to run it

4 When running mplayer eerything froze
You need mplayer to watch TV

5 Must I install -both- mencoder-pets ?
You need mencoder to record TV

Mplayer almost always freezes with me.

Could this be caused because I installed Mplayer plugin as well ?
