I have been in touch with him, but a while ago. I tried to set up a GIT server and then use a free one, but couldnt get it to work so we could work on it together.

I was inspired by Edupup and made Hansamben (still waiting for an appropriate name). Stuck it on the forum and it evolved. This is the original thread:

Then it turned out as:

Forget the pre-release in the title, there are so many ideas turning up on the forum, its really a constant WIP.

I downloaded EduPup and Hansamben and will be trying them out with my kids (5 yrs old and 3 yrs old) soon.

I work for a school system and I really see a need for programs like these that can utilize old hardware that would normally go to waste.

It could save a small fortune. I have it in a couple of nurseries and am going to approach the local primary.

Good. I have similar plans. That's why I'd like to tweak EduPup so the programs will be appropriate and pertinent for their grade/skill levels.

Next time I bootup 2.14X I'll compile some kids games, Probably the ones used in this release, I think 2.14X would make a great base, better than 3.0 since it has a older kernel, but newer updated backend.
