icewm & wbar questions, and a request for more buttons

I've been unable to shrink the address portion of my
toolbar (i.e. make it narrow)
and could some one tell me how to move wbar closer
to the top of my screen

If you're starting wbar from xinitrc, look at the part where it says "-offset" and change the number that follows that to change the position of your wbar. May have to experiment a little to get it just where you want it.

Look for a file in /root called .wbar

It's simple, with three lines for each entry in a wbar panel:

i: <path to icon to display on bar>
c: <command to run> (may be full path name, or just command if it's in a directory on the PATH)
t: Caption displayed below selected icon

Open a terminal and type "wbar --help" for a list of applicable command line arguments you can pass to wbar to specify things like what side of the screen it displays on. You can also specify a config file name other than .wbar, making it possible to have more than one instance active, like wbars at top and bottom of the screen with different icons.

thanks for the responces I have changed the offset from 30 5 with no
result :( my mistake with toolbar size was my icewm button was to big and although I set the size smaller in prefoveride :oops:

I still use xmms and was wondering does anyone have a puppy button with earphones on?
