Unable to install grub from Puppy CD (Solved)

hello everyone, i am using puppy from cd and want to do a full install but just before it comes to the grub installer, the cd ejects automatically and then the grub installer doesn't respond. i have read on the forums and I've made sure that the HD & cd drive are both mounted but i still cant get grub to install. any suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated.

What version of Puppy?

well, i just kept rebooting and i finally got grub to install. everything i checked so far is slick, find out more on the morrow
