Well, ACPI is enabled, so there's no need to turn it on. My suggested fixes are now -

1. Set bios to "PnP OS = NO" (I'm not sure if you did this already)
On some laptops the same thing is achieved with "Quickboot = OFF"
... or in desperation, if you have been using this setting all along, maybe you should change it to "PnP OS = YES".

2. Since you have a HD install, modify /root/.etc/pcmcia/config.opts to uncomment (remove the "#") from irq3.
3. Boot option acpi=off
4. Boot option pci=biosirq (this is similar to bios setting "PnP OS = NO")
5. Boot option pci=noacpi
6. Boot option acpi=noirq
7. Boot option noapic

Look at dmesg each time, and I don't think it's even worth trying to load the driver until you get rid of that "PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 00:06.0" message.
