How do you control desktop position of a widget?

#1 Post by mow9902 »

Thanks for the pwidget work. Could someone please direct me to a 'help' file which explains which parameters to set to control the position of the widget displayed on the desktop. I have played around with editing the particular widget config file, and can see that the OFFSET_X_RIGHT=35 parameter moves the widget horizontally - but changes to the OFFSET_X_LEFT=40 parameter do not seem to affect the vertical postion.

Thanks in anticipation.

The HEIGHT variable is the one which define the relative vertical position.
Change the vertical startpoint in the preferences (menu-->file-->preferences).
