I have had no daily reports of your well being.
I will assume you are dead, unless notified otherwise.
In fact . . . I can not trust any reports, even those from the deceased.

The wiki has been linking to succi on its front page for a while now

i did go to the wikka page and see the succi link--amused that it had a question mark after it

uncertainty totally kicks butt

Was it difficult to get it in that language?

My neighbor is 80 years old and don't do Englis hso I would want to change puppy to Swedish to help him get a non M$ experience.

How did Succi get the local language going?
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

I'm updating the links on my site and can't locate succi.org these days either, nor can i contact either David or Eric at that domain address....i haven't heard from them since around Christmas so don't know what's going on there :? It's a pity because they were really dedicated and it seemed to be going really well for quite a while..

I still have their first two releases on my server, if anyone wants them:

Succi 1.0 (88mb) and
Succi 1.0-r2 (98.5mb)

@ nooby: As far as i know, both Succi-Linux releases are in Brazilian Portuguese only but i couldn't tell you how hard it might have been for them to localise it - if i remember correctly, it's a complete translation....i tried it back then and had to guess at much of what was in front of me because i don't understand any incarnation of Portuguese

Thanks for the info.

To translate a whole puppy just to help a neighbor is too much for me. :)

I gave him a bookmark to google translation from english to swedish.
not ideal but that will do for now.

You're welcome, noob..

At least you're making an effort to help the guy....with any luck, at some time in the future another Swedish puppy user might have the necessary skills to do the job...have you thought of posting a thread to ask if there are others out there who might be able to help? Never know, could get lucky.. :D

Succi v2

#9 Post by Kanyimbe »

I had a chance to download Succi v2 today and my initial reaction was "Wuau!" It seems very clean and the localization is quite thorough. I think it's based on 4.3.

It is a shame about their forums which aren't being moderated.
