I am using the latest kernel of Puppy 4.3 Final and for some reason decided to click on the Setup ALSA of Setup
Puppy went through some kind of driver setup and my free memory rapidy filled up and I was forced to turn the machine off as I could not reboot from software.
Another weird thing - my keyboard is not recognized as a ps2 pin (round pin adaptor) but is OK as a USB (no adaptor) on my initial boot
- So I can not type 'Puppy pfix=ram' unless I use the keyboard in USB mode

I've been testing kernel 2.6.30.5 live for about an hour and have had no problems yet.
Keyboard and mouse (both ps2) were immediately recognized, sound worked on reaching the desktop (onboard intel) .
Just ran Alsa ......same thing occured here.Free memory dropped from 600+ to 272 before I killed the process.
See screenshot.

Puppy can't find modules, doesn't save the desktop layout, nor does seamonkey, which does not save the preferences made.
Puppy with kernel 2.6.25 seem to be working okay.

Please post 4.3 final bugs in the thread Barry started for that purpose. Thanks.
