How do I save added words in ABI spell check

#1 Post by peppyy »

m on chapter 14 of my book now and I haven't figured out how to get ABI spell check to remember added words for more than one session. Is there a trick or do I need to manually add the names to the definitions somehow?

The Main problem is the main characters names, Ahote, Hania and Kachina and their dirritives. (See why I need spelchck so bad?)

Thanks in advance as always.

if you are adding words to the Abiword dictionary, they should be in a file called "custom.dic" in /root/.AbiSuite/ (hidden dir)

your added words would look something like:

Ahote
Hania
Kachina

That certainly looks like the right place, The others I ahve added seem to be there just fine, I added them menually and it seems to work fine, might there be a limit on the size of the custom list?
