Interesting. He talks bout making KDE faster. KDE is DOG-SLOW on my computer when running something such as Suse, but it flies in Puppy. I'd like to try the "new-fast" version in Puppy.

# using ECMAScript (aka JavaScript) as the default language for widgets
# using SVG files for graphic design, manipulable via ECMAScript

This I found interesting, scripting is used extensively by Barry and GuestToo.
SVG has not been developed as much as it might be so this is good news.
KDE does indeed run fast in Puppy and looks great
