Do we have any command in Puppy that returns the position of the mouse pointer?

Thanks
Sigmund

There is a getcurspos-2007.pet.
Run 'getcurspos' in a terminal, and it gives you the current position of the cursor.

Hope that helps.

[edit] It does actually return the location of the mouse pointer, not just the cursor in the terminal - just checked it to make sure!

Thank you for sharing.
Where can I download getcurspos-2007.pet

My hope is still that it can be done without adding new dependencies.

Sigmund

It's in pet packages for woof - works fine on my 3.01 though:

Yes, getcurpos is in all Woof builds. I needed it for something, can't remember what though.

So, it will be in the upcoming pup 4.3.
