Are there any good Mahjongg versions that play well in Puppy? I started a Google search but got lost in the various library and distro distinctions.
This one looks interesting: http://www.lcdf.org/xmahjongg/
Mahjongg
I looked for a tcl version but could only find an online game.
I downloaded the tarball from the site you posted and will compile it later.
I did get a tcl version of solitaire from this site:

You could try Unpteenth Iteration Shanghai Solitaire from here:
http://www.sreal.com:8000/~div/shanghai/
It is TCL/TK but looks as though it has been packaged for Windows, so may need a little effort to get it working with Puppy.
Will try it myself in a few days.

The Umpteenth Iteration Shanghai Solitaire game does play in Puppy. Plain Jane style but seems to work well.
I unzipped it in Windows and transferred the files to Puppy into a directory under ~/my-applications.
From the new directory issued the command wish shanghai and the board appeared.
Takes about 1.6MB on disk and seems to run the processor at 100%. Maybe the program loops while waiting for input.
Will try to build a dot pup, but don't hold your breath.
