No tests of "Epiphany"? I run it in other distros,..(with Java and Flash working well)...seems pretty fast and simple. Any pet packages or dot.pups of it?

Yes currently, although the .pet will update automatically to the latest 3 series, which one tester I had said produces faster results and he preferred...I havnt had chance yet to fully test if that breaks anything though....Its had a lot of features and tweaks added.

thank you 01Micko for providing this comparison, I look forward to reading your report.

I don't really trust 3, it seems to crash a lot. I'd be happier sticking with 2.0.0.20 as long as possible or even (since I'm posting from it now) Seamonkey 1.1.15.

:D Hello all,
Looks like I need to update "12 Browser Dingo"..LOL

D/L the latest Seamonkey 2 series...Very nimble...Still rejects the best add-ons.. :x Turns pages on the Forum pretty quick...
Flash works fullscreen, ect...

Been using Opera 10 for about a month now...
This Seamonkey is close, but Opera 10 seems faster, to me...
Besides, Opera has a "Puppy Linux" Theme... :D :D :D (40k + D/L`s)
Flash can be a big buggy though...

Epiphany needs Gnome...HV3 works in Puppy, as does Aurora...
Flock is too slow...Firefox 3 crashes constantly...

For me, the best "light" browser is Netsurf...
But if "speed is the need" then Opera 10 is one...
Close the Windows, and open your eyes, to a whole new world

Don't forget Swiftfox, a version of Firefox optimised for speed (and which works well in Puppy straight from the tarball).

Dillo 2 is good too; it has tabs, unlike Dillo 1 and (I believe) Netsurf.

No, or Skipstone (which runs on top of Seamonkey).
