Hello synth!

Thanks for explaining me this stuff!

I'd be more than willing to be an alpha tester for Puppy Studio.

Regards,

JazzyPuppy

Testing? When might an Alpha release be available?

#23 Post by harryhaaren »

Hey Synth,

Its long been a dream of mine to get a RAM studio!
At the moment i have tried to do this with Slax, and LiveScripts,
both cool "functions"of linux, but Im not technical enough yet to go insert my
owen real time live kernels..

So i've googled the earth over many times, and this seems to be the
only RAM studio solution!!! :D

So Im available quite a bit to do alpha testing, bug reports, I have a
desktop and a Laptop (single and dual core) can do some comparitive tests for you?

Only if your intrested in help at this time of course!
Cheers, and if there's anything you can think of that
could do with some upgrading (artwork, log in sounds, etc)
i offer my help.
-Harry

Downloadable alpha???

#33 Post by JonathanBrickman0000 »

I need a good string-section sound for some stage work; I have an old 3 GHz single-core Dell server as platform, and PPS is the best hope I have :-) Is there a downloadable of PPS yet???

Hey synth, may I ask which version of Qjackctl are you using and how did you compile it? I'm having trouble with it wanting Alsa headers when I ./configure.

Synth, Im anxious to check this out myself. You should at least upload and post an iso of what you already have and try to get some opinions on it. One thing I have learned is that if you wait until you have "perfected" your work, you will never release it, as you will always find a way to improve it. That is why all software comes with version numbers ;)
