Suggestion for shutdown dialog for the next Puppy release.
- Color of heading text fits the chosen JWM theme.
- Puppy version is autodetected.
- Icewm is not included here, since I guess it won't be in the next Puppy.

Hello zigbert,
This is how it looks in a puppy without JWM, my WM is Openbox.
| Code: | grep: /root/.jwm/jwmrc-theme: No such file or directory
(gtkdialog3:11808): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set text from markup due to error parsing markup: Value of 'foreground' attribute on <span> tag on line 1 could not be parsed; should be a color specification, not '' |

What are you upto now?
That looks like crap again, your aways over expanding icons so they distort to save like 5kb, plus why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? The current one that we are are using works fine, looks better, and makes more sense and is smaller on the screen. Is that just because someone else has a script in puppy that you didn't make that you have to try get your claws on it. Why not do something useful and make some gui's things that we need, like one for libburn and libisofs or one for md5sum. etc. Really now you need to get a better hobby. The only thing I would change on the current model in 4.2 is get rid of those ugly Icons I made to match that flat orange menu theme. If I have anything thing to do with puppy 5.0 zigbert, I'll be protecting my shutdown menu, from people trying to take away one noticeable feature I made. Why not learn 'c' and make some gui's that don't keep running when you shut them down, like pmusic and pburn.
ttuuxxx
Ps and don't think everybody knew what you were trying to do by making this GUI shutdown, It caused a stink when you tried that in 4.2 beta and was shotdown, then after 4.2 you wait about 1 month and say
'Pshutdown-0.1' noway, it would have to be in puppy already to be called pshutdown maybe you should rename it to, Pshotdown. Actually the one I made in puppy is called Shutdown and since its in puppy already and has been tested, maybe it should be called Pshutdown 1.0
Clown!.

What I really like to see is a way to call the shutdown dialog box with the 'Ctrl-Shift-Esc' key combination as in Windows and Pprocess with 'Ctrl-Alt-Del'. Any way to do this?
Can anyone make a script or .PET package ?
This would be great for Windows refugees.

Yes thats possible and I'll start that once we get series 5.0 up off the ground, I already know how to do to, so it shouldn't be very hard at all.

No Seriously Zigberts domination over every visible 'P' product is a bit much for anybody to swallow, I've produced something that works and looks good, he tried to steal it out from under me in 4.2 beta and so did another, it was my Idea I brought to 4.2, something I was working on for about 6+months more off than on, once I get it going and its been the 4 series for a month, Zigbert comes along strips out the icons and replaces them with tiny one and removers the banner and trys to push it as the one to use, Sorry I'm not here to compete with him, If I make something that is good then why try to take it away, I don't see anyone else pushing a CDburner based on Zigberts code with different icons do you? I'm getting sick of his crappy attitude. He knows I have one application I built and he's always going after it. I say too damn bad!! If your calling one script 'puppy domination.' your as screwy as zigbert is,, dramatic queen.
I do enough stuff around here not to have to put up with insults from some and other who just want to push my buttons all the time.

Here's a suggestion drop it!! Really there have been no issues with IceWM, Everyone has like my icewm themes over your JWM themes. There's only about 300kb different in size between Jwm and Icewm, and nobody said its out, It very big of you to decide on your own it would be out, actually I'be been pushing for xfce or openbox/fbpanel or lxpanel to be default for 5.0 with Rox. So Jwm and Icewm would be out!! and many agree. That would be a better call. The only way I could see JWM being default in puppy 5.0 is if Barry himself comes out of retirement and does 5.0. Have you not been following any of the development of woof? Hey guess what we might be using T2 again also. wow suddenly you might understand everything doesn't have to go your way because you say so. What a shocking revelation.

It is VERY easy to modify this script (/usr/bin/pshutdown).
If you want me to modify it for you, please give me the command to restart openbox

your missing this file from JWM, it won't hurt your system to have But its a serious flaw to base a dialog on a window manager per specs, really it stops it from being universal, Like the one I did, worked on, openbox, blackbox, hackedbox, icewm, jwm, xfce thats all the ones I tried it on This one in its current state wouldn't work if JWM was removed without adding some JWM configure files. Poor Design !! Heck I'm a amature and wouldn't fall for that one, were ya half asleep when you made this one up zigbert or do you enjoy fixing things daily?

I guess there is no "restart JWM" in the 4.2 shutdown box.
Why dont we keep the usual shutdown menu in JWM and introduce this shutdown box to appear, say when ALT-F4 is pressed when JWM is the only one remaining on the desktop?

Hi Raffy the restart JWM was in the menu, but then people said there was no need since its part of the refresh menu. Which is fixmenus+refresh JWM+IceWM

It would be too much simple. In France we usually say: why do simple when we can do it complicated.
