The ones in the preceding post ARE at 16bits. As for the problematic ones, here they are:
Deepthought 16bit - 800x600
Stardust 16bit - 800x600
g3 16bit - 800x600
They don't look BAD ... exactly ... but they don't look very good either, which is a shame because the 3 posted above are my personal favourites in the frugal wallpapers available when displayed at 24bit colour depth.

I love the theme, dejan555. Unfortunately the g3 background only looks good at 24bit colour depth (see post above). See if you can find a wallpaper named "nanotek", because I think that would look great with your theme.
BTW, this is the Deep Thought Development thread, so really isn't the appropriate place to tout your JWM theme, regardless of how proud of it you are (and rightly so). The JWM themes exchange is more appropriate, but you already knew that. There will be no additions to Deep Thought at this late stage, so maybe you should look at an EZpup-style add-on package in .pet format for your fans?
Cheers

OK, I see now that you uploaded RC3, so we're close to final 4.2! And under 100MB, yaaayyyy!
Nanotek?

Yep. that's the one. Should look really nice with your theme. Try it at 16bits and see if it loses anything.
Cheers

Now that's a really nice taskbar It matches the color of the MENU button perfectly.
The volume tray icon needs a serious facelift. It looks like a relic from the olden days of Windows 95.

Whodo, My vote is for crystal shore. However,I do think the orange icons look better on a brownish background.
I think you're doing a FANTASTIC job on Deepthought. I know very little about Linux and want to keep it that way. I've pretty much "had it" with the sh!t that MS keeps coming out with. They should rename it. Maybe call it Garbage or Rubbish. They are truly masters in the art of deception.
Remember GeoWorks? It did everything better and faster than WinBlows even on old hardware. Ok,I'll stop here. Sorry to go off topic
Keep up the good work,
Don
Bling is always a good thing, unless it gets in the way of performing work.

One question about included packages: Is tinyXML included and if so is it compiled to use the STL?
EDIT: I asked this because i'm working on a JWM theme configuration dialog, and wanted to know if i had to parse the XML myself or there was third party libs or JWM/IceWM had it's own XML parser. Thanks!

No tinyXML I'm afraid, polymath, but we do have Gnome's libxml-2.6.30 for parsing XML.
Hope that helps

driveicon layout
Some thoughts on the 'default' horizontal driveicon layout (and depending on drivetype and perhaps install whether that horizontal layout remains so in relation to pup_events) .. I'm fairly certain that users of widescreen displays might appreciate an optional vertical layout much as was the case in P4.00 - this can be a real spacesaver and it seems a natural orderly placement (and even more so if there is no 'taskbar' to take up precious vertical space .. most tasklists involve text and thus are not terribly suited to a vertical layout, so quite often users of smaller displays must resort to various workarounds for that ). Of course it's quite late in P4.20 development for such a consideration, but it would help to increase the appeal to a wider set of users in the base (quite likely puplets, I'd imagine as time goes bye).
