Jukebox-pup?
I'm going to use an old PC with a large harddisk as a jukebox PC. I would like a small OS which can visualize my music collection (mp3s) as a music library and play smoothly with a intutive interface. Can anyone suggest a suitable puppy derivate for this? Using Gxine and/or Pmusic doesn't seem to fulfill my needs (no proper music library).
I think XMMS should do what you want.
It allows you to build song lists and queue them with a good search function.
You can get it here:

try the gmpc+mpd-pet's made by taavi:

Short explanation:
- mpd is a music-server and can handle LARGE collections

- gmpc is a very nice gtk-frontend to mpd
