wow,

You beat me to it!!!!!

Thanks for posting this. I have a gnome_libs.pet file full of the gthumb dependencies, so you don't need to run the gnome desktop environment. I'll get that on here in the next couple of days.

Great work wow.

HI!!
So I tried to install gthumb on my puppy 4.1 and the gnome libraries but I am still missing some libs:
libhal.so.1
librarian.so.0
libgnome-window-settings.so.1
libpanel-applet-2.so.0
libmetacity-private.so.0
libcm.so.7
libxcb-xlib
libgstreamer-0.10.so.0
libgnome-media-profiles.so.0
I was searching through the forum and internet but I can't find anything.
Any sugestions?
I need only the library for gthumb

Sorry, this was compiled in Puppy-3.96(SMP support) for Gnome-2.20.3(seems to work only for puppy-4.00) so it's hard to make it work on other puppies. You can:
1. Mount gnome.sfs and copy missing libs to /root/my-applications/lib
2. Boot puppy-4.00 and carefully install gnome.sfs and gThumb.pet. Or
3. Install gThumb from sources http://gthumb.sourceforge.net/

This link is dead,

I tried waiting, try d/l-ing again, wait even longer (1/2 hour) and try d/l-ing again . . . same results. I'm guessing it's no longer on that site?

Can anyone else post a live link to this dotpet?

Thanks! :D

Nevertheless, this old topic will provide the pet gthumbs.
Now linuxians can go outside with tablets and take pictures. They can take their computer with them. Video tools will soon be on vogue :)
