How to resize personal storage file?

#1 Post by wongv »

I have a warning message that my personal storage file is getting full and that I should resize it or delete files.

What particular files are they referring to and how to I resize them?

Thank you in advance for your help.

When you installed puppy you made a pup-save file.
The blue box-bottom right, shows how much space is left in
the pup-save file.
To add more space:
menu
utility
resize personal storage file
add as much as you like as long as it will fit
in the remaining space on the drive; it adds on reboot

The most likely culprit is Firefox. It now has a feature that automatically downloads an anti-phishing database. Go to Edit > Preferences > Security and turn off the feature. Then go to Edit > Preferences > Privacy and select the options that clear all the private data when you exit.
