Besides this is a little newer one, is there other differencies between this and aragons agualung pet? I have tried agualung several times before and it has been very memory hungry but now it looks different. Does this difference have something to do with sample rate?

This version is with Sample Rate Converter support, MOD Audio (MOD, S3M, XM, IT, etc.), Musepack (mpc), Monkey's Audio Codec (ape) and
WavPack.

i've tried about 5 times now in 3 months to get this to run on 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
wonder what i'm doing wrong. any help is appreciated. i'm not even sure if i'm even going to like it...cause i've yet to see it.

with a little more of information from your side, it might be possible to help?
- which packages did you install?
- what does not work?
- what does happen if you type aqualung to a console-window?
- ...
