I knew we'd get there this year ... this is just a tad sooner than expected! :P

And Grant's Puppy Linux Book is also published just in time for the start of 2009, see

Congratulations, everyone, and especially Barry Kauler.

In the top 13 of all groups
#13 last 7 days
#11 last 30 days
#8 last 3months
#9 last 6 months
#13 last 12months

Not too shabby for a small distro that some using the bigger multi disc distro's consider "not a real distro".

Although; Puppy was at #5 last 7days on October 15 last year. I think it may have been even higher but am not sure when.

Um I thought governments were "Clowns R Us". And why would we want to be taken seriously by them. They already spy on us waaaaayyyy too much.

Move over Microsoft. Puppy could very well take a big bite out of Mocrosoft's installed user base, many of whom are still running 9x.
Cheers

Be it as it may, #9 on distrowatch really means very little. This unique functional distro that we have exists because of BK. (Hats tipped to you BK).

For us to continue forth unwavering, let's disregard all polls and continue to bleed blood. Safety is for 'women and children first' (with all due respect). We can be stable and cutting edge, our user base is proof of that. Let's do it.

Remember, 'puppy=cando'.

appropriate song

#13 Post by raffy »

Hmm, maybe an appropriate song for the occasion is:

(Am here) "because you loved me" (you surely will love Puppy :) )
