Updating Puppy Linux through USB Stick- Using the QEMU mod.

This is how I setup the puppy linux to work on my USB, and I'm pretty happy with it (since I can access it in QEMU or standalone) but how would I go about updating it to 1.06?

Without having to redo all of the stuff so it would work in QEMU?

When you do an install of 1.0.6 it will ask you if you want to do an upgrade.

You should do a backup of any data that you have just to be safe.

This is normal procedure with any operating system.

you can't simply upgrade in qemu, as qemu-puppy uses a patched image.gz.

The homepage describes the patch, but it is not easy, so ask the maintainer to create a new one for Puppy 1.0.6.
