Subject description: how do I get all my mouse buttons to work

ok another one for you guys, I have a nice mouse with extra buttons. I have become dependant on them. they do such things as page back, page foreward, and it has a tilt wheel which, in Windows, lets me scroll right and left. I really love the page back and foreward options when surfing the web. can I get these functions to work in puppy?

Hi

I have been using a 5 button mouse to pageback/forwards in firefox & seamonkey but I am not sure of the other functions you mention. The modified part of my /etc/x11/xorg.conf file is below:

Code:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
Option "Buttons" "7"
Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 6 7"
EndSection

Hope this helps.

Gary

Good it's solved.
It would be helpful for other people that you edit your initial post and add [SOLVED] in the subject.

Also you could make a post in the HOWTO section to describe your solution.
