Hello,
Small, fast, and incredibly usefull .
Simple, easy to configure.
BRILLIANT..
A must have for Puppy!!!!
It will be in all of mine....
@ Oh, yea, no bugs, no complaints, no problem...
@ Edit: OK, one curious issue...When run from the folder, works great, but run from the desktop, or from the menu, no background???? Made a pet, installed well, menu item created fine, same problem... Still workes fine from folder...HMMM.. Is it me?

LIT 2 Subject description: amended |

Hi Jay
You mean the program image file is not displaying - right?
move the files
about.txt
LIT
and lit.jpg
to their final destination
/usr/local/lit2/
Then in the file text file LIT
change this code: (near the bottom of the code)
Code: | <pixmap>
<input file>lit.jpg</input>
</pixmap>
|
to this:
Code: | <pixmap>
<input file>/usr/local/lit2/lit.jpg</input>
</pixmap> |
what this does is change the called file from a relative position
to an absolute
There is also a spelling mistake for the 'Extras' pull down menu here:
this:
Code: | <label>Sofware</label> |
to this:
Code: | <label>Software</label> |
if it works OK stick your name here
Code: | # created by Lobster, Jay
################### |
create a .pet
and upload the .pet
All LIT up . . .
I have included some potential icons for .pet

I just loaded Dark Force on a Dell CpX laptop, 750MHz, 512MB
SWEET!
Now... I closed the LIT box because I wanted to rearrange the desktop, etc...
I don't see a menu entry. How do I get it back when I'm ready to actually USE it?
Sully
P.S. Thanks for this puplet! Its got all the basic tweaks I've been wishing for!

Thanks for the feedback tux! Got me thinking more correctly.
Ended up moving LIT from the startup folder to its own folder in /usr/local and adding an entry in the menu.
All is well, thanks.
