How to install to hardrive, with no floppy drive?

when i try to do hardrive install it ask for floppy.i dont even have a floppy drive is there another way?

You will need a way to boot your puppy.

If you don't want to use a floppy, you need a bootmanager like "grub".

Search the forum for "grub" or "wingrub".

I got 2-3 reports, the installer corrupts windows (more than 500 people downloaded it). It is not clear yet, if it was the installer or something else.
So make a backup of Windows before using it.

Is there a way that these instructiones can be used to install puppy linux on HD:

Not using floppy? Use option 2 of hard disk install.

You could create a Grub Boot CD and dual boot Puppy and Win or just Puppy this will leave your win partition and the MBR untouched.

You need the Grub ElTorito file to create a Boot CD.
